Baptism
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian
life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door, which
gives access to the other sacraments. (Catechism of the Catholic
Church)
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on
the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, at 2:00PM. Some families
choose to have the celebration of Baptism take place at one
of the Sunday Masses.
Prior to the Baptism, Parents and Godparents
are asked to participate in a conversation/instruction about
Baptism. This takes place in the Parish Rectory, 432 Adams
St., on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:30PM, and on the
3rd Saturday of each month at 11:00AM.
Please call the rectory, 617-698-2439, to
make arrangements for the Baptism.
