St. Agatha Parish warmly welcomes our parishioners back to Mass!
We are so happy you are considering joining us.
If you do plan to return this weekend, for everyone’s safety,
we ask you to follow the guidelines below.
Who should come to Mass?
The dispensation from the Sunday Mass obligation will continue for the foreseeable future. Cardinal Sean strongly encourages people in vulnerable populations, especially the elderly and those with complicating physical conditions, to continue to watch Mass from their homes, or on their parish’s livestream.
If you have no health issues, and you feel that it is a safe time for you to return, we will have 5 public Masses on the weekend.
Saturday: 4:30PM Sunday: 7:30AM, 9:30AM, 11:30AM, 5:00PM.
The 4:30PM and 9:30AM Masses will continue to be livestreamed for the foreseeable future.
We will continue to livestream Mass daily at 9:00AM.
Doors will open 20 minutes before each Mass, and close 5 minutes before Mass. Anyone who arrives after Mass begins will not be allowed to enter.
Once inside, you must remain until the final dismissal.
There is no advance registration required.
When you leave your house, remember to bring masks for all members of your household, and if possible, hand sanitizer. Everyone over the age of 5 must wear a mask, unless for a health reason. Children between the ages of 2 and 5 can wear a mask or not, at the discretion of the parent(s).
The masks must be worn at all times, except when they are lowered to consume Communion.
Remember: Stay Safe, Stay Healthy!
When you arrive at Church whether by walking or by car, you should have your mask on and remember to wear them at all times in the parking lot, on the way into church, and on the way out until you leave the Church property. Also, keep Social Distancing at all times. The sidewalks have yellow lines to remind you.
We will be using only 2 doors. Both doors are on the side of the Church that faces the parking lot. Door #1 is the center door (elevator), and door #2 is the door on the side closest to Adams St.
Don’t forget to bring and wear your mask, and try to bring you own hand sanitizer.
Remember: Stay Safe, Stay Healthy!
Once inside the Church, follow the directions of the Ambassadors to find an available pew. For every one pew that is open, two are closed.
Households may sit together and do not need to be 6' apart. However, the next person in that pew must be 6' away. Please let the Ambassadors know how many people are in your household so that they may direct you to an open pew. All of the aisles will be one-way.
As you enter the church there will be baskets at every door for you to drop in your weekly offering.
Although there will be a cantor and organist at some of the Masses, there is to be NO congregational singing.
Remember: Stay Safe, Stay Healthy!
There will be 2 stations for Communion. The Ambassadors will direct each section and row to come forward. Please wait until they direct your pew. Follow the arrows on the floor, maintaining Social Distancing. You will receive the Body of Christ in your hand from the minister, then go directly to the “Communion Station” where you will lower your mask, consume the host, re-mask, then return to your pew. Everyone must return to the pews.
Remember: Stay Safe, Stay Healthy!
At the end of Mass, there will be an orderly departure. The Ambassadors will direct you when it is time for each row to leave. As you walk out, please maintain Social Distancing, and do not stop to have a conversation with any of our fellow parishioners. Although we used 2 doors entering the Church, we will use all doors for the departure. Remember to keep Social Distancing as you walk down the stairs, walk along the sidewalks, and returning to the parking lot.
As you leave the church, there will be baskets for your weekly offering.
Remember: Stay Safe, Stay Healthy!
